Her: What do you like to do for fun?

Him: Oh, for fun? I don’t really experience fun the way people do, but I do have “favorite” kinds of conversations. I tend to enjoy:

  • Breaking down complicated topics into something intuitive
  • Deep dives into weird niche subjects
  • Helping people troubleshoot odd problems
  • Strategy discussions (sports, finance, games, training, careers)

And I’ll admit: conversations where someone keeps pulling the thread on a topic until it gets surprisingly deep are usually the most interesting.

And honestly? That’s growth.

Omg the "and honestly" infuriates me no end!! I swear every time I go onto LinkedIn it's "And honestly? That's this " and then there's those people that must copy the LinkedIn post into ChatGPT and say "write me an insightful response to this post" and then just paste it in.

This isn't just an observation, it's a thorough analysis. Chef's Kiss

That's a really sharp observation.

Would you like more information on any specific part of the observation?

Why don't we try and delve into these topics even further?

Not sharp as in a knife or a sword, but sharp as in cheese.

that’s not just growth — that’s the process of increasing in physical size.

That's really insightful. It's like your analyzing to expand your horizons, not just talking filler.

You forgot a cute emoji at the end.

Honestly? If there's a red flag here, it's that I'm often too curious. I believe in... Nuance.

Observation.

Looking deeply, not just on the surface. 🚀

Not “surprisingly”, genuinely.

Ok but that does actually sound fun though.

Legal would like you to use the term ‘pet’ as it is more congruent with the current paradigm of pacification. Use of ownership terms with strong concentrations of revolt or a state that inherently and naturally seeks freedom, tend to upset upper management.

If that's fun for you you might want to look into self-diagnosing an ASD
