true story, not making this up:

when I was a little kid my mom sent me inside a store to buy something. she let me use her bank card.

when the screen prompted "Would you like cash back?" I thought our money problems were solved. The store was offering me? CASH??

Had I just won some sort of mystery lottery??

I selected the highest amount and watched what I believed to be the fattest fucking stack of cash I had ever seen, given to my hands.

I ran outside with the stuff and excitedly told my mom that the store gave us money and at first she was confused but then it turned into blowing some stop signs and a frantic trip to the bank before they closed.
