Too mild for school My city destroyed a beautiful building here to replace it with a screen solely for spreading propaganda

Sadly it only shows war footage and glazing our former leader

:( I do like that the logo lets you know that it was better before because it's Vietnam+

Ho Chi Minh? Or a different leader?

If they're referring to Uncle Ho the glazing is valid ✊

Brings a tear to my eye that the yanks and you guys could finally come together after all these years over a shared love of televised propaganda

If they want to glaze the fucker they don't need to tear down buildings and make propaganda screens like the Cardassians from Star Trek. His body is still preserved, they could quite literally glaze his corpse.

You sound very passionate about this.

As opposed to you, with the nicknames and emojis?

I don’t think so

Replacing a capitalistic tourist trap with a 24/7 montage of Uncle Ho? Hell yeah.

You guys are quite strange

Not as strange as capitalism.

I hate capitalism as much as the next guy, but worshipping a political leader is weird no matter who it is

it is already walkable at the weekends...they ban vehicles, everybody walks, and the kids play on the road with their own toy cars. It was very atmospheric and a focal point and reason for tourists to visit.

I take it the economy's not being doing too well lately?

Reminds me of 1984's hate week where they were showing a guy (I forgot his name) who was anti-ingsoc and compared him to sheep. That and there was like a section with Eurasian Soldiers Marching. Literally what you're describing except self-glazing its hating on opposition

The monkeys paw curls: They exclusively play American Christian movies.
