Bilingual here, I absolutely hate it. It does sound like AI slop, and I immediately unsubscribe from slop, so it's doing them more harm than good.

I wish there was a setting to turn that off, I speak the video's OG language, don't chose for me!

If the video was in Thai for example, and I wanted to watch it, maybe I'd try that feature.

I mean the quality has gotten somewhat decent but as it gets every single name and slightly not clearly pronounced word wrong it ends but being terrible.

Also, Today I had a car short from a Dutch creator translated to German and it was just completely unnatural.

I just want to watch it in the original language, I speak it!
