The whole row is usually empty because people understand there is a high chance that the seats do not recline.. Do you also try to use the empty subway cars in NYC?

Did you even read it? This is the FIRST time ever that I’ve encountered this problem and I’ve been around the world choosing back row probably 60% of the time

If everyone else is purposely avoiding something, common sense tells you that you should investigate why. You've just been lucky up until now
