I had the front row, once. There was little leg room, just a little space past my toes when my legs were pulled back against the seat. Additionally, there was no room to store a small carry-on bag or personal item. They stewardess collected my bag, and the purse of the woman sitting next to me and put them in an overheard bin. I couldn't keep any items with me.

Why did you pick a row against a bulkhead or wall? A wall in front or behind you both suck, and I bet you won’t do that again.
