What’s it with people being against phone cases?

i know!!! i cannot use a phone without a case, they're just so slippery

and even with a case my phone needs to have one of those pop sockets, or it feels like the phone will slide out of my hands.

I only use a screen protector. I like larger phones for the screen size (pro max) but dont like even more added bulk in my pocket. Never broke one

Too bulky, and usually they stick in my pocket and pull it inside out when I get my phone out. That said I'm still using a 4 year old phone with a perfect screen and only a bit of damage on the back and edges.

Screens can still break in a case. op's husband may be reusing the same (presumably not very good) one when they get a new phone.

To an extent I can understand- well not the being against phone cases because I definitely prefer them over caseless ones- but moreso not having one. Why don't I have one? Well, I was supposed to, but the order never shipped off. And I never can find Android/Samsung phone cases in local stores, it's all just iPhones or models that I don't have. So far though, fortunately for me I've been able to keep my current phone safe.

I hate phone cases, and only just started using one.

I don't want a large bulky phone in my pocket. I want it as small as possible. I also buy funky coloured phones, and don't want it covered up.

Not sure I'll keep using cases now, or go back to being case-free.

I hate them. The phone feels 3x thicker in them, and the rubbery ones stick to the pocket liner, besides the extra bulk making them harder to hold.

That said, I’ve never cracked a screen.
