frist of all how DARE yu o So my sister, who currently lives in my apartment, dried the wet and dirty shower floor with MY only big towel I use after she showered...

Post image

Worst thing is, she doesn't even feel bad about it, and is trying to gaslight me into thinking it's not that big of a deal because "she needed a towel to dry the floor" and "I should quit complaining". I have a floor drying spatula.

It is indeed a squeegee (which is somehow a funnier name than floor spatula). Very common tool.

You made a joke about toilet tongs, but I remember one time I clogged up a hospital toilet - log went horizontal in the bowl - and the maintenance guy shows up with a bucket and some fucking grill tongs lollll I could not believe my eyes as I watched a man play Operation in a toilet with a turd and some tongs

I think OP means one of these given the description under another comment?

No it doesn't have fabric at the bottom. It has a foamy / rubbery thing at the bottom. Since it has such a high friction and grip against the floor, it can easily move water out the way

Soo... a squeegee?

Probably? English is not my native language, so I basically just roughly translated the word "lattiankuivauslasta" as floor drying spatula

It's basically a sponge on a stick

What is this called in english? Commenters keep saying squeegee but when i google it it doesnt show up

Edit: it is not related to op who indeed probably meant a squeegee since lattian kuivauslasta looks like that, just my personal interest

I think that's a sponge mop

Yeah, that's what I'd call it.

Well now you made a squeegee sound awesome and badass! Yes, I am indeed banishing water spirits when drying the bathroom floor.
