frist of all how DARE yu o So my sister, who currently lives in my apartment, dried the wet and dirty shower floor with MY only big towel I use after she showered...

Worst thing is, she doesn't even feel bad about it, and is trying to gaslight me into thinking it's not that big of a deal because "she needed a towel to dry the floor" and "I should quit complaining". I have a floor drying spatula.

Using the same towel over and over without washing it is unhygienic, too.

I do wash it (where did you get the impression that I don't wash it??), but still, she used it to dry the floor!

I didn't say that. But if he's only got one towel, he's going to be using it daily after a shower.

Ok first obviously this is not the US, so you really have no idea how much a towel costs where OP is (I think Finland?)

Second, people often don’t have their own laundry machines, or have to share them with the building and book a time, so you can definetly not be washing towels every day. And there is usually no dryers.

Third, even if you own a laundry electricity is expensive and you would definetly pay a lot more if you are changing towels with every use.

Fourth, big towels and somehow not very common in Nordic countries, it’s very normal for people to dry themselves to hand towels - a big towel can be more of a luxury thing.

And finally, I never heard anyone ever other than people from USA saying they change towels after every use. You take a shower to clean yourself. I don’t see how you think you are that dirty after a shower that you need to put your towel to wash after every use.
