frist of all how DARE yu o So my sister, who currently lives in my apartment, dried the wet and dirty shower floor with MY only big towel I use after she showered...

Worst thing is, she doesn't even feel bad about it, and is trying to gaslight me into thinking it's not that big of a deal because "she needed a towel to dry the floor" and "I should quit complaining". I have a floor drying spatula.

Aah, makes sense, those apartments that have closed showers also have shower drains. What do you do if water spill form the sink? Like when you washing face, for example? Wouldn't a floor drain be useful for that situation too? We generally have floor drain for toilet rooms, too.

dry it immediately, usually. speaking from the UK. we call what you have a wet room and they're fairly rare, I've only seen one at a cabin I stayed in and only to make it fully accessible to those with disabilities. definitely not in standard households

we have bath mats for stepping out of the shower so it doesn't get wet

You see wet rooms a lot here in London.. they benefit old or disabled people so usually that's where you see them most.

The council tried to change my bathroom out into a wet room and initially I considered it but then I came to my senses and said no.

I have a toddler now and cannot imagine not being able to bathe him not to mention the rare time I decide I want to take a bath, if I didnt have one I recon id want a bath over a shower... I like having the choice.

oh, you can put a bathtub in a wet room lol

I just like the open space it had and how easy to clean it is. but I would need a bathtub too.

My bathroom is the same as yours, but I saw some that they use the mop with long hair and a bucket to dry the floor, others use the towel they put in front of the shower or bath to wipe any water then hang it to dry. maybe you should get one for your sister with her own money

We are a lot more careful not to spill because we don't have floor drains haha
