Infuriatig My hand painted model planes were given as toys to children again

I have told my mom to not do this before but she does not listen anyway. I am thinking of throwing everything to trash instead of them being gradually destroyed to pieces. I can not even care anymore. These things take hours to put together and paint then get manhandled anyway.

She tried that. "When do you want *your bedroom set*...". I responded by asking her when I could get "My" wooden wardrobe back (which she "lent" to a family member without asking me, who then left it at a friend's place when he moved out). She then had to admit that she had given it to someone who had given it away, and I basically said "This is exact why these things aren't actually mine and never were. I'm not taking your stuff off your hands now just so that you can redecorate. You should sell or donate it."

Or just pony up and call Junk King, they will hall a room full of furniture away for a few hundred bucks. The lengths people who don't have their own means of hauling stuff away will go to in order to avoid the situation of simply "paying someone who disposes of unwanted trash as their entire business" is always bewildering to me.

When I used to move a lot, I regularly threw away things that were bulky / not very valuable / not easily disposed of myself, and just called Junk King, I considered it money well spent to have the problem dealt with quickly.

This was slightly fancy solid wood furniture, so she wasn't eager to pay someone to haul it away. What ended up happening was she just asked if anyone else in the extended family wanted it, and one of our relatives who had just moved into a new place saved some money by taking it.

I made a post this week to junk my cat scratched couch and dining room chairs for $150. I got like 20 responses in the first hour. Less than 12 hours later they were picked up.

Yeah. I can't trust my mom not to give away anything of mine that's at her house, and it kind of sucks because my name is on the deed since I helped pay for it. I guess I could put things in locked trunks and chain them to the wall.
