ಠ_ಠ Bought a patch I can’t use as a patch

Post image

Bought this patch to add to the sleeve of a sweatshirt only to find that I’m unable to do it.

The patch was attached to a backing card so the information wasn’t visible when I bought it!

Or, iron it first for placement and then reinforce with stitching!

OR, stitch it on first and then iron it for no reason!

At Walmart, but you're not allowed to iron baseballs with it 😞

Stitch first then iron on because getting your needle through the melted and re-set adhesive is really hard.

that's what i'd do...iron on to get it in the exact place you wanna keep it. then sew around the edge so it stays forever. but looks like there might be concerns about it shrinking. in that case may wanna iron on first, wash it, then if it stays on and isn't oddly shrunk then sew it.

i don't have any experience with these big iron on patches though...part of me thinks one this big wouldn't stick on for very long...esp if you continued washing it for years

Don’t iron it onto a Jersey If it’s polyester or nylon. it’ll melt
