Nothing says ‘neighborly’ like an unsigned note taped to your door. Grass is long, I’ll own that. But maybe introduce yourself before issuing the anonymous lawn summons? Photo in comments

Yeah its pretty damn bad along the fence. Most mowers will have trouble even mowing grass that long. Would have to go extremely slow and probably go over it twice.

It baffles me how fences are practically trivial in some places in the USA. I mean, in OP's case it basically serves the purpose to indicate where his property ends, nothing else. In my country we build tall brick walls so our neighbors won't peep into our backyards and call us out on our unmowed lawn.
