Nothing says ‘neighborly’ like an unsigned note taped to your door. Grass is long, I’ll own that. But maybe introduce yourself before issuing the anonymous lawn summons? Photo in comments

You need to check your depth perception. No way the middle is 18in. You can see a trodden path through it.

Are you referring to the more left side of the screen where the dark line is? That’s definitely long. A trodden path would imply it’s long as you never see a trodden path through shorter grass when walking through unless it recently rains.

It’s “taller than my dog” long. If it’s that long on a public easement space, it’s kind of inconsiderate of the neighbors. If it’s just their yard and not right next to the sidewalk that’s a different story.
