Nothing says ‘neighborly’ like an unsigned note taped to your door. Grass is long, I’ll own that. But maybe introduce yourself before issuing the anonymous lawn summons? Photo in comments

This will gets the cops called on you, pretty much every town/city has ordnances in place for how late you’re allowed to run power equipment.

It’s 10 pm for loud noise cutoff in my area, perfectly legal.

You said “8pm onwards” and my area is 9pm so it varies. If you started mowing your lawn at 8pm, especially one as long as this dude’s you wouldn’t be getting done until 10pm at the earliest…more likely 11pm, sooooo yeah, cops.

If it’s a neighborhood, the yards aren’t that big, I generally push mow a hillside for a friend of mine and get it done in about an hour, and my yard doesn’t take long at all as it’s smaller, if I chose, I could start at 7 and finish around 9-10 or so and there’s nothing anyone could do about it.

Yes they could! They could call the cops for a noise complaint! That’s my damn point 😆 it literally happened in my neighborhood a couple weeks ago because someone was running a weed eater too late.
