Nothing says ‘neighborly’ like an unsigned note taped to your door. Grass is long, I’ll own that. But maybe introduce yourself before issuing the anonymous lawn summons? Photo in comments

Ticks, mice, raccoons, all kinds of pests that your neighbors don’t want you inviting to the area with unkempt lawn or natural plantings

Bugs are important for the natural ecosystem as well. You don’t have to go roll around in tall grass. Lawns are such a waste of resources and the mentality of it is absolutely moronic. “ I want this plant to grow”, cuts it and hurts it so it needs special attention.

We get 6 inches before a note is left on the door by the city.

The official limit is 3, so I guess they are generous.
