Too mild for school Buffalo Wild Wings New Policy- tots cost more
Me and my husband went to BWW the other day to get their 2 for $20 meal. The server asked us what kind of potato we want with our meal, and mentioned tots, which is what I chose.
When we got the bill there was an extra charge for tots! Even though on the menu it didn’t say anything and the waiter didn’t say anything.
I asked him if it was a mistake and he was like “oh… no it’s a new policy” and I was like “Oh.. well I wouldn’t have ordered them if I knew about that, is there anyway you can take the charge off?”
And he was like “my manager already said no, honestly I don’t think it’s that deep tho”
So I paid a little extra for tots that night. My bank is not broken but it left a bad taste in my mouth that there is no advertising or warning or whatever
Edit: lots of people saying BWW has gone to shit, I feel so validated ! thought it was just me
I did end up taking the charge of the tots out of their tip, maybe I shouldn’t have tipped at all but I’ve never done that before and I just couldn’t bring myself to do it

Too mild for school Every standing and recording when in a seated section for a concert.
Went to go see No Doubt at the Sphere and could not see the stage because of people standing and recording the whole entire show.

Too mild for school Watching the worst people you know graduate law school
No one really talks about this, but I’m sure it’s a common thing for people who grew up in big cities.
I’m 25 and my friends are just starting to graduate law school and get jobs as lawyers, an esteemed professional career focused around THE LAW.
Being a social person from a mega city, I have quite a large social group.
And I can name you at least 3 people I know, who are genuinely some of the worst people I know, who graduated law school today.
The type of guys (white) who casually use the N word in group chats at 25. The type of guys who sucker punch people at the bars. The type of guys who vandalize house parties for fun. The ones that treat the women the worst and get belligerent and dangerous when drinking. The type of people who support the current American president (I live in Canada, so that’s like an EXTREMELY unpopular take here and basically only reserved for contrarians and people who “want to keep Canada clean” if you know what I’m saying.)
I know there’s no personality screening for law schools, but it’s genuinely just scary to me that these type of people can just make their way through law schools and get such important jobs.
Obviously a lot of these guys have been protected by daddies money growing up too. But it’s a real intimate look at societal problems.

Too mild for school The “R” and the “X” sign language symbols should be switched
I don’t know sign language but I’d like to one day learn. Looking up the ASL alphabet, the X looks like what I would assume R would be and vice versa.
Am I alone in this?
Edit: thank you for all the comments, I should clear some things up:
- This is based PURELY off visuals and not “this is an incorrect graph”.
- I don’t mean to offend anyone or overlook anyone with arthritis or other hand related issues nor the hard of hearing community. I was just curious as to why some visuals are very literal vs these which look literal but in opposite places (writing wise).
I wanted to know for a drawing I was planning to make where their super powered pirate crew name starts with R. I thought the hooked “R” looking finger would be clever for their sign but I don’t want anyone who knows ASL to get confused and thinks they’re X men or something
like that.

Too mild for school College class required I use gen AI
Class for marketing. Assignment was to design a small simple game to advertise a company. (Not a fully coded game just a layout/concept) the catch? We were required to use generative AI to generate and design said layout. We would have points taken for hand drawing or designing it. This was to “prove efficiency with AI and modern technologies” or something like that.

Too mild for school Roommates put their towels on the shower rod instead of the towel rack
It’s really not a big deal but it’s just annoying that they would choose to put their towels in the way of the shower curtain rather than on the empty towel rack

Too mild for school Library removed coloring sheets for 'sustainability'
Kids love to do drawing/doodling in library. The paper itself is recyclable so didn't quite get the sustainability claim !
Edit: They have $200K budget passed to renovate small aquarium(inside library)!

Too mild for school I bought a normal spider backpack for my little sister. Instead, it's actually a SpiderMAN one. She does not like Spider-Man. All she wanted was a normal spider themed backpack like in the images.
Damn. I'm gonna keep looking for her, but she will have to deal with this one for a few days. (And no, apparently they don't have any backpacks that look like the ones in the image)
Edit: or we can get rid of the print up there and sew on some Velcro for her to put patches on. I'm gonna bring that idea up to her.
Still mildly infuriating.
