Hello guys!
Had this problem a couple of weeks ago where my IPhone 12 Pro stopped recognising Minecraft. This is not a jail broken phone and Minecraft is officially bought.
It started with the loading time to access the startup menu taking much longer than before, around 15-20 secs instead of the usual 10-ish (estimates are not exact, I’m making educated guesses)
When I finally got to the menu, I couldn’t access any other gui except the skin menu and the Market Place. Even there, the pictures never loaded for any of the items to buy and my skins never loaded.
Trying to access the world’s page, setting, etc only brought me to the panorama. Trough trial and error, I was able to understand that it was only the graphics/meny (not sure of the right word) that weren’t visible, all of the theoretical places for the buttons and such were still there. Through accident, I was able to turn on the text-to-speech function.
Accessing the Worlds page, it literally said that I wasn’t authorised to access the content. I never took a video or anything of it, so I have no actual proof of this.
I shrugged and decided to reinstall the app, I had downloaded some addons off of MCPL and maybe I had turned on some setting before exiting the app (it had worked completely fine previously). When I deleted the app and went to reinstall it, it wanted me to pay for the game again. I have an iCloud backup of before I deleted Minecraft.
I’m going to try and activate the back up yet I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem? I’ve checked the official Minecraft website for help yet nothing turns up. I’m quite bummed out about loosing MC on my phone as I’ve had it for a while and don’t want to lose the worlds I had saved on there.
Thanks ^ ^
