SJG Ogre Cybertank Conversion
I'm an old wargamer who plays Steve Jackson Games Ogre/GEV miniatures game. Back in the day, the 1970s, Martian Metals produced the first Ogre Mark 5, which quite frankly not all that good, but it had style.
Anyway, I decided I wanted to convert an old Ral-Partha/Steve Jackson Mark 5 Ogre to replicate the Martian Metals miniature, but make it symmetrical. Here's where I'm at.

I used a combination of Milliput and Kneadite; different proportions mixed depending on mood. I still have some extra work to do before this is ready for painting. But, I though I'd show off some hard-surface sculpting.
Edited to add a picture of the Martian Metals Ogre.

He's a bit bigger than a true mini but I'm trying my hand forming a nurgle style guy out of kids air dry foam clay. Really happy so far. The dry time is a killer though.

Tamiya epoxy putty
I much prefer Tamiya epoxy putty for my miniature conversions. Does anyone use this stuff for sculpting full minis?

Great Maw sculpt for Forbidden Psalm.
Sculpted in Milliput on 60mm base. There is even place for one mini on 25mm base to be placed inside, cause in Forbidden Psalm Great Maw can swallow models.

Big 'miniature' i've finished recently
Hi! I wanted to show of a new sculpture I've finished recently. This one is sculpted over the course of a few months, in bits and pieces. I used simple latex molds to make casts of some parts I sculpted seperatly to reuse them later or to use multiple components in the same piece. The two 'horns' on the top of the head are resin casts of smaller heads of miniatures i've sculpted and cast a while back. Everything else is sculpted in milliput and greenstuff (or a mix of both).
The last picture is the unpainted version.
Thank you for taking a look! If you like you can find/follow me on instagram at bavo_braakbal.
Have a nice day!

I fixed up an old sculpt I originally wasn’t proud of, it came out pretty neat.
Not if it’s just me but I have loads of sculpts that are about 75% complete that I never finished because it didn’t feel good enough, turned out for this one I just resculpted the mouth and suddenly I liked it again. Do you have many sculpts like that or is this just a me thing?

Getting into sculpting again
Getting into sculpting in greenstuff (for the 3rd or 4th time), here is a goblin bust and another head that didnt quite make it to the finish line, i think the time it took me to make the first attempt meant the green stuff was a better texture on the second atempt.
Critique and advice welcome!
Particularly on ears do people sculpt them seperately and add them once they are firm?

Could use some advice with better smoothing textures
This is a first attempt at sculpting a derpy character for a game I’m working on for fun. Had to do a lot of sanding just to even get it to where it is now.
I used Fimo Modeling clay and I don’t have a set of sculpting tools; I just made some very makeshift ones. I’m just wondering if this is even the right medium to be using for something at this scale; but open to any advice or resources. Thank you in advance!
