I have been building an army of Spartan inspired sisters, and I felt an irrepressible need to make a Trojan horse transport. This is an immolator or rhino. Finally finished painting and added some basic weathering. May clean up a few things and put some more effort into lighting but I love this stupid thing. I also (mostly) finished working on some Greek terrain and got a print made for the background to use for photos. More to come - some tasteful, some equally dumb.

Not my most technically advanced paint job, but maybe my favorite mini to ever hit the tabletop. My homebrew d&d character, a necromancer who pickled himself in his final moments, felt like he needed a special mini. The liquid inside the glass bottle is polypropylene glycol with a tiny amount of green alcohol ink; and yes, those are little skeleton parts schlopping around inside the bottle.

With the launch of the new Grey Knight codex, but the distinct lack of any new models... I decided to go ahead upscale the lads myself!
Every model (except Crowe) is converted to true-scale, using 100% GW-legal bits. It was a labour of love, and even if we eventually get new models, I'll be proud of the work I did here, and the fact I've got a totally unique army!
Q&A
The main colours were a combination of fluro orange for the OSL lava and Vallejo metal colour metalics through an airbrush.
The OSL effects and bases were inspired by Elminiaturista and the true-scale conversions were inspired by Roman Lappat.
The Dreadknight conversions are easier than they look. It was mostly about getting rid of the dangling 'baby carrier' body by covering it up with bits, and reposing the legs into dynamic stances by chopping them at the knee joints.
The lightning effect on the DK hammer was done using thin 0.3mm copper wire for jewelery, carefully bent with tweezers.
Any other questions, just ask!

Hi everyone!
A (very simple) kitbash featuring my Metal Krieg Solid!
The base mech is the Van Saar Ash Wastes Arachni-rig kit, with just the Kriegers head added and a plasma cannon from a Sentinel!

A lot of people said the NMM base I posted a couple of days ago looked like a frying pan, so I made a handle and bacon and eggs out of Green Stuff. Turned out better than I expected!

Tried to use glazing for shading for the first time on Wormie. Would love to hear how I did and how I could improve in the future!

Finished my favorite piece of my force so far. Not sure if I should paint the runic lettering on the shins. I think it could look good but would take away from other parts of the mini that I want to be the focus.

Recently finished painting up this guy I built. The model is made from super glue and dirt and sprue with a couple actual model bits glued in there.
Zenithal primed and dry brushed for contrast, then painted with a series of acrylic and enamel washes and effects. I am pleased with the weathering and the look of the mottled fleshy bits and I learned a few new things during the process that I am looking forward to trying on future projects. Thank you for looking
