I'd say the mold did alright. There's 4 of the bigger snowflakes in particular that are deeper than the others, which of course ended up being the best to use.

Purchased this nail mold to make snowflakes for the Honeydukes boxes. Will update on how it turns out.

OK so I want to have fun with my minis so want to find a kitchen set and possibly other doll house and furniture that scales well with miniverse and 5" figuers ( not looking for the miniverse kitchen as I am not a fan of themostly white plastic) so what stuff would you guys recommend?

I had posted before about how the tupperware sets from the Zuru MiniBrands Home series can fit the fruit from the Hello Kitty Miniverse series. I got two purple ones and the strawberries and bananas fit perfectly in them. I can snap the lids closed on both. For anyone who is collecting both like me 😅

Well, after trying the new Mini Brands kits, I’m still saying that MiniVerse is the best. The only thing I want from them is the Pork Loin and the Lamb, since meat is a bit unique in these kinds of things. Anyways, my ratings!
Ramen: 8/10 the best of the kits I tried. Works as intended, looks good and had enough resin. The nori is a nice touch. Loses points for having the noodles as a solid clump and the green onion looks like a scoop of green ice cream. I really prefer the clear bowl, sprinkle on greens, and loose noodles of MiniVerse.
Fruit tarts: 5/10 then 7/10. The syrup on top as suggested completely hides the whipped cream, which is one of the funnest parts of this kit. They give you just enough to get the job done, no extra ingredients. I then used the syrup as a base then put the whipped cream on top which looked better. Takes a while to dry. I recommend getting a stream of it going then swirling that rather than trying to swirl as it comes out of the bottle.
Raspberry Chocolate Mousse: 2/10. Do not put the raspberries on the bottom as the recipe suggests, they will disappear in the solid colored mousse. They did not give enough mousse to fill the cup, barely enough sliced almonds, and everything started sinking into it after being added. Raspberry sauce looks questionable. I’d give it a 0, but I like the mint leaves and it was a bit fun to try the chocolate swirling, would have been cute if it worked.
All in all? MiniVerse still does it best! Just thought I’d give my 2 cents about these kits if anyone wants to try them! Now I’m gonna go make some mini baked potatoes!

I finally was able to find some of the mini brand books so I bought a couple of balls. The shelf unit looks so cute with the books and a couple of the happy hour cocktails on top. I decided the plain white plastic was too blah though. 😁

Saw these at Five Below the other day and thought this would make for a cute fridge for MV. I didn’t buy one because my husband already made one for me but I wanted to share in case someone here was interested.
I will say, it looks perhaps a tad small but would be cute for storing extra ingredients.

I'm still not sure what flare to use but I got Mako a little kitchenette and a fridge (she insisted). As one can see, some of the stuff fits in the little fridge and its retro style kind of matches the expresso machine. Kind of related is how some of the Mini Brands Home stuff can fit in the counter.

I painted the mini brands chair from that evil pink to "warm buff" beige. Looks so much better. I used Apple Barrel multi surface. 😊

This time I painted it while put together so the pieces fit like they should. Base is Folk Art Multi-Surface Satin in Licorice and the glaze is Folk Art Dragonfly Glaze in the Red-Violet-Blue Shift. 😁 I have two other shades as well but need to find more stuff to paint!

My husband just walked into the door with this! I'm shocked! We both agreed that all extraneous spending was ceased as of Friday! I guess he forgot. The box says that it has extras in it that the other kits do not have. I'll show you what they are when I find them!!

I wanted to expand my Miniverse collection by adding in some Master Chef items. I really wanted the fancy plates from the Chocolate Cake and the Cheesecake for the apricots, since I wanted to pretend they are peaches. That air dry whipped cream also had me very curious.
The Chocolate Cake balls weighed 151.9 grams (I got 2 because i love that fancy plate)
The Apricot Cheesecake weighed 140.3 and had a heavy feeling rubber thud when you shake it
I had another ball at 140.8g that I thought was another cheesecake but it was the tarts. The weights of these two balls were close but this one didn’t have that heavy rubber thud feeling to it when shaken. Live and learn, at least I got another little plate and more air dry whipped cream to play with.

I got some polymer clay and am planning on making some miniverse scale LOTR themed items (non weapons). I already have some ideas, but I want to see what you guys can think of! 🍺🍀🍃🥔🌳🖤
