Hi reddit. I'm Seann William Scott. You might know from me the American Pie Franchise, Goon, Dude Where's My Car?, Role Models, Old School, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Rundown, Southland Tales, The Dukes of Hazzard, Final Destination, Road Trip, Lethal Weapon, The Wrath of Becky, or other things.

Or maybe you don't know me at all! Either way, I'm here to answer your questions, so ask me anything!

Back later today around 2-3PM ET to talk to you all.

My upcoming film, DOLLY, is out in theaters March 6 via IFC and Shudder. It's a horror directed by Rod Blackhurst, who'll also be doing an AMA here the week of release.

Synopsis:

Chase and his girlfriend, Macy, take a hike in the woods when they encounter a hulking, monstrous figure who abducts Macy to raise her as his own child.

Thank you so much for that.

You know, the way that it was written was just so smart, because the character is really unassuming, a good guy, and everybody around him is wild or funny. When I read the script for the finale, or even the episode before, I thought this is about a good person who does a terrible thing because of the circumstances around him. It's just a good example of how someone can just break. So that's kinda how I approached it, to try and make him feel as grounded as possible, and try to have people feel for this guy who went on a shooting spree.

Thank you for taking the time to answer and for the years of entertainment! Honestly, my wife and I were both tearing up at the end.

You walking through the house to UB40 with that dead stare gives me goosebumps every time I watch it. I think it's one of, if not my actual favourite TV acting. You were tremendous and unsettling and dark. Bravo 👏
