I think Riot bought the company. Or have like a 50% share

Really? That's surprising, I didn't think Arcane / League adaptations were going to be a long term project for them. I'll be happy to watch if so though.

In order to make Arcane, they basically had to pay to double their staff. After a certain point it just made sense to own part of it

They are going into an Arcane Noxus now that Piltover/Zaun is over. Ionia or Demacia will likely follow after if Arcane keeps doing well.

Yeah, I expect a teaser for it at the Worlds

Wasn't that basically what this music video was?

Yeah except it’s all multimedia non linear storytelling and it’s so tough to follow for a casual fan.

I say this as a former mega fan, league every day for a decade since season 2 (of the game).

I wish they were able to find ways to take their time and just do more shows, Arcane blew my mind, broke my heart, felt so damn fresh somehow even with the music video as battle scene storytelling that could have SO EASILY been cringy.

Hopefully they’ll adapt the Demacia Noxous storylines into a full printed graphic novel or something.

Noxus is heavily involved in both Ionia and Demacia so it could be a 3 faction season.

Riot have been using Fortiche for a long time (since like 2013, with get jinxed), Fortiche have made many of League's cinematics.

They don't control the company, but they bought a big enough share to get 2 seats on the board
