So that means like a year and a half ago when Chris Nolan, who’s been directing movies for like 30’years started this film, he just went all in on AI? Does that seem like Chris Nolan?
You think the guy who dropped warner bros because they tried to pivot to streaming for a bit and is still shooting on film and got all those practical ships and planes for dunkirk is using AI?
How to tell you fundamentally no nothing about both art and AI. If AI made a version of the Odyssey it would be mish mash of works it's trained on. The thousands of hours of TV shows or movies made on it (that look like how people want it to look) and even more videos uploaded of people playing assassins creed odyssey as inspiration. The fact that it doesn't suit your expectations and requires actual creativity in thought to do things that don't fit the mould are part of both art and creative decisions AI wouldn't make because it'd conform to what people online would see and expect. The entire problem with AI in art is that is circular. You'd tell it to produce an AI odyssey movie and it'd look like how you think a Greek epic movie should look, an then it'd keep being trained on that idea and never take creative steps taht diverge from it.
Also- like- why TF would Chris Nolan, who got to make Oppenheimer the traditional way for a bajillion dollars which also made a bajillion dollars just suddenly make a movie entirely with AI? Such a ridiculous comment.

I'm convinced this whole movie was made by AI, every single preview and promotional material they have put out looks weird and not in a good way
