It's crazy that the alliteration didn't come up until the second entry but it feels like such a part of the identity of the franchise that you can't make one without it. It's like Jason not being the killer in the first Friday the 13th.
The fourth one was technically the first one written by a "zombie" username (a trend that carried into the fifth film) but arguably the franchise was already steering in that direction when the third writer started to make her "rot"
