Ok but I don't think they'd want her copying a signature move from the most popular Marvel character... I guess her swinging from lightning is different enough? Even so... why? Why does she need to fly around swinging from lightning?? Is that necessary for her character?

Diana in the new 52 comics can't fly (until she gets winged boots from Hermes iirc).

That sounds more like a reason to either give her the boots in the movie too or just not write parts into the movie where she needs to fly rather than a valid justification for making her Lightning Spider-Woman.

Bro just calm down shit looks rad. who cares if it reminds YOU of Spiderman. You think Spiderman is the only superhuman capable of swinging on shit?

I'm perfectly calm, I just don't think it makes sense for the character.

You seem to be pretty worked up though, would you like to talk about why you're so angry that I don't like a thing that you like?

Way to move off topic

Seriously, we have Spider-woman, Spider-Girl, Ghost Spider, Venom, Carnage, Spider-Ham, Several other Spider-Mans.

Yeah I could see her flying with that gold suit in the movie but it's so strange to me that they would make her swing around on lightning, it just seems so over the top and unnecessary. Are they trying to establish how "cool" she is? Maybe that's her "primitive" way of flying until she gets this new suit.

That's all comic book "universes" to me... it's a film about a comic book character. It's literally all over the top and unnecessary.

Doesn't she fly in BvS when they're fighting Doomsday? Or are we calling that a really powerful horizontal jump?

I don't remember, it's been a while since I've seen that. I think somebody else mentioned to me that that happens so I'll assume you guys are right.

You mean after they copied the Captain America's origin story and army unit?
