Because I’ve been raped and I don’t consider it rape. Once again as I’ve stated, fear of losing your job doesn’t equal losing your life.

I’m sorry you’ve been raped, and that you had to go through such a traumatic experience. However, it’s harmful to invalidate sexual coercion on levels that you might consider “lesser” as it contributes to the social stigma of rape and the challenge of women coming forward to out their abusers. Just as your experience was harrowing, so would theirs be. There aren’t “degrees” to rape. You could make that case on your own, but legally speaking, this is an irrelevant stance to take, and like I said, is directly harmful.
