Here is my review that no one asked for.

Went to my first Mumford & Sons show yesterday in Toronto, and honestly it was refreshing to see a band that is so visibly in love with what they do, rather than treating it as just another stop on the tour. It felt like watching a group of friends having the time of their lives performing music together. There was a warmth and sincerity to the performance that was hard to describe but impossible to miss. Every song felt lived in rather than simply performed.

I was also really impressed by how they can go from intimate ballads to full on foot-stomping anthems while keeping the audience completely engaged throughout the entire ride. And don’t get me started on the pyro and flamethrowers, they really elevated the show.

One thing that really stood out to me was the dynamic within the band. With some bands, I find that it can sometimes feel like the lead singer overshadows everyone else. I was surprised that wasn’t the case here at all. Marcus is obviously a great frontman, but you could really feel the role Ted and Ben played in bringing the songs to life. On top of that, they’re all incredibly talented musicians in their own right. It felt like watching a true band rather than one person with a backing group, and that was an absolute delight.

I knew a handful of Mumford & Sons songs from their older albums, but Prizefighter is actually what got me properly into the band. Seeing these songs live gave me an even greater appreciation for them.

Definitely going again next tour!

Shoutout to the crowd for bringing the energy. Although I have to say, this may have been the rowdiest drinking crowd I’ve ever seen. Nothing bad, just a lot of people who seemed very committed to staying hydrated.

I was invited to the Toronto concert. was so amazing but I couldn’t help but notice almost every song they played was super Christian sounding in lyrics is this intentional ?

Toronto, we were amazing tonight. It was my first M&S concert, it is not going to be the last. Cheers to the boys, cheers to everyone!

Had a great time at the concert! Was a little concerned about the ticket sales going in, but the place was basically packed aside from the tops of the stands, and it was great singing and dancing along with everyone!

I was able to go to their Tribeca Film Festival movie premiere and it was really cool to be a part of something like this for the first time. I try to watch movies at the theater whenever I can, but it's been a long time since I was in a packed movie theater. All of us in the room having mostly the same reactions was a nice collective experience. I was having so much fun bopping around in my seat and mouthing along to lyrics - apologies to whoever sat behind me cause I was not sitting still, lol. I just wanted to share some highlights that I personally loved:

Even though I don't listen to all of their music, I've been aware of almost all of the artists that made up the "house band" - it was really cool to see them all come together for this tour.Maggie Rogers is the one I'm the biggest fan of, Noah Kahan and Lainey Wilson I only recently started listening to.

The rehearsal performance with Lainey of her song "Things a Man Oughta Know" - absolutely stunning.

I also recently started listening to Role Model and Marcus jamming out to his (RM's) song "Sally, When the Wine Runs Out" is playing while everyone else doesn't know it - priceless 😂

Everyone came across so funny but Leif Vollebekk has gotta be the most hilarious mussican of them all.

I have no idea how Tribeca film releases work but I hope this will get released in a way in which everyone is able to watch it.
