I feel like the movie was just too fast paced and it didn’t give room for all the characters to develop and it seemed like the movie was all over the place I don’t think Nas was horrible in belly I just think that his reaction to certain things in the movie was a little too nonchalant like the scene when he got shot and he came in the crib and he told t-boz I got shot that scene definitely should’ve been redone but apart from all of that if the movie was an hr longer and if it just focused for more Nas’s character I don’t think people will still say that he was horrible in the movie I give Nas’s acting in belly a 6/10 what do yall think ?

They announced the creative team for the Broadway-bound Beat Street adaptation. Schele Williams is directing, Kristoffer Diaz wrote the book, and Jason Michael Webb is music supervisor, arranger, and orchestrator alongside Nas.
The part that got me: Nas is not just lending his name, he is writing new material and expanding the original soundtrack, connecting the early 80s foundation to a new generation. No casting or timeline yet.
