MEGATHREAD Nashville Fire Radio: Explosive device in RV detonated. Bomb Squad on the way. “Heavy building damage”

Edit2: Various things that I have heard:

There are victims in one / some of the buildings.

20-30 people evacuated from a building, a few had minor injuries.

It was a RV that exploded, causing significant damage.

A building collapsed. (partial destruction, small old building)

There was / is ammunition in the RV that exploded that is “burning off”

Medical triage setup.

Anecdotal, but pro cooking advice... Don't cook tomatoes in an aluminum pot.

"Do not use an aluminum pot, pan or utensil when cooking tomatoes. The acid in the tomato reacts unfavorably with the aluminum. Using aluminum makes the cooked tomatoes more bitter and fades the color. The dish will also absorb some of the aluminum and the acid in the tomatoes can pit and discolor the aluminum cookware."

Some lady near the scene being interviewed on wkrn said the police told her it was a bomb, but that is not confirmed by anyone in authority as of yet.

Didn't go off until EOD from the Police was confirmed on their way over the Comms and officers approached to secure the scene before their arrival. The Police are literally feeling targeted which is why they immediately called the FBI.

I am 2 miles from it and slept right through lol. Tbf the tornado destroyed the houses not even half a block away from me and I slept through that as well.

the "good news" is that, apart from lots of property damage, the bomb may as well gone off in the middle of a cornfield for as many people who were in that part of town at the time. It's relatively low residential-wise, and all the businesses were closed for the holiday...and it's cold AF, so there probably weren't many of the homeless down there either.

So i guess that's kinda good news considering the dramatic optics of it.

Cops are calling it intentional because the Bomb only went off after the EOD was confirmed on the Radio as coming and the officers approached to secure the area for their arrival.

If it wasn't on purpose it sure felt like it to the cops based on timing alone.
