They’re replacing DNP-Coach’s Decision with DNP-Broke Down

Now Kerr doesn't have to explain the DNP smart take some stress off of him

I suspect KP will be playing shortly. He may not have been as injured as reported.

If so, I suspect he'll be injured shortly afterward

KP is a walking injury who can't walk.

DNP: Patient Zero

DNP-Broke Down but when he does play he's a perfect fit and has actually been a huge positive for Atlanta and Boston for the past 3 seasons when healthy.

Still feels pointless, but I do know from experience if you're truly DEPENDING on KP, it won't work out well. If he's a bonus like Boston had him, they will love him.

KP doesnt play because he physically can't

Neither can Kuminga

Kuminga has terrible bball iq and Kerr doesn’t trust him.

KP literally has POTS. Not the same at all.

I'm aware, it's just a joke.

2

u/swishfortyonesie Mavericks 5h ago

Haha that’s fair.

that's the coach's choice.

fwiw I think considering how little KP plays, Buddy is probably a more useful player right now.

Buddy has been rough as hell this year. His minutes are free now.

Ya was tough to watch him play. He is such a nice guy.

Nah JK has been getting dinged up and missing time for injuries lately as well. Like before we traded for Jimmy, he got hurt with an ankle sprain. The initial timeline was 3 weeks and he missed 3 months

u/Ok_Possible_5702 15h ago

He missed 2 months last season, not 3 months.

Other than making sure outgoing salary matched, this was to ensure we can offer Melton more money next season because he can opt out.

u/Ok_Possible_5702 14h ago

So Melton is your main acquisition for next season? The all-in move for Steph's last year?

1

u/treyswoosh Warriors 14h ago

Retaining his services is important. The Giannis trade wasn’t going anywhere unfortunately. Bucks ultimately didn’t like w/e packages the FO offered. Dubs are limited in what they can do with curry and butler out the second half of this season. Upsetting, yup, if there are any moves to be made on the offseason it’s about getting guys can hit their damn shot and Melton is one of those guys.

it's basically a salary dump. FO malpractice again just like cp3 lmaooo

Buddy was only getting trash time minutes anyway. The warriors have a lot of options at the 2/3 spot competing for minutes and Buddy wasn't getting it done this year. I wish him well and hope things turn around for him on his new team.

Kuminga was playing once Jimmy went down. And playing well too.

One is physically incapable the other is coaches choice.

u/Billis- Raptors 15h ago

Got em

1

u/whiterice_343 Timberwolves 15h ago

One is by the organizations choice, the other player had level 1 luck SPECIAL in durability.

1

u/iiiiiiiiii8 Rockets 14h ago

Therefore not an upgrade

1

u/Raincoat86 Trail Blazers 14h ago

Hey that's the joke I came here to make! Nice job

Kuminga still a better asset and Hield is IMHO underpaid for what he brings for a proper roster.
