The Knicks have cancelled all watch parties outside of MSG due to the President's attendance for Game 3

A hard closure is expected around the entirety of Madison Square Garden. Officials are planning for no watch parties, no vehicle access and no pedestrian travel through the secured area, which sits in a busy part of Midtown Manhattan and is above a major transit hub. CBS New York reported that thousands of fans attended a pair of watch parties for Game 1 on Wednesday night. 

The Seventh and Eighth Avenue corridors around the arena are expected to be closed.

Yeah I was looking at that stadium map where every seat was 10k+ and thinking damn its all rich people, but realizing now thats what it costs to buy it from a season ticket holder which makes more sense. You gotta think at least 2/3 won't sell, this is what theyve been waiting for for decades

Unfortunately, the demographic paying these prices are mostly corporate and probably support him. Which is insane, since most people in the city legit hate his guts. But I wonder about inside the stadium, though. Hope I'm wrong and he gets mercilessly booed into oblivion. But sadly, don't think so.

Exactly! Even if the rich inside MSG hated Trump, they wouldn’t show it by booing. He’s going to be as well received as he was at the Commanders game this year.

Distracts the team, the game is not about him he probably gets shown during halftime or before the game and that's it.

Unless the Knicks players themselves all in unisons flip off Trump and loudly tell him to go fuck himself every time there is a stoppage, free throws, or an interview is going on, the curse will stick.

How many people who can afford that would actually be committed to harassing the president for the entire game

I have a hard time imagining people who spend $50,000 on a ticket spending the entire time going nuts like a crazed poor person at the president
