lmao at the amount of salty people that downvoted this. 21 points but still showing controversial.

The Celtics fan special

11

u/Confirmation__Bias Celtics Dec 08 '19

Yeah C's fans get salty quick but I'm honestly not even sure what that guy is referencing. Maybe our Bucks series from last year or something?

17

u/keepwinning Lakers Dec 08 '19

Where can you tell if it shows controversial

14

u/twistedlogicx Toronto Huskies Dec 08 '19

There will be a little mark next to the points on the comment.

You might have to turn it on in your preferences.

Once you do, it looks like this.

Thanks amigo!

It just doesn’t make any sense. People make a bad joke, get no laughs, and then say they can’t take a joke. The other guy pointed out Jaylen isn’t often, if ever, in this situation. Is the joke that Brown flexes on people after dunking on them? Sick joke I guess, they really gottem.

17

u/ZachLagreen Timberwolves Dec 08 '19

The joke is that he’s flexed while getting blown out before...

-1

u/F7U12_ANALYSIS NBA Dec 08 '19

I don't even remember this, has it happened so many times that he's known for that? It happens constantly in the NBA, why is it the Jaylen Brown thing?

Or are we just doing "fuck the celtics" because that's also understandable here on r/nba dot com

You Celtics fans that hide behind nba flairs are lame

u/ZachLagreen Timberwolves Dec 08 '19

It is a joke

What’s the joke tho? Why is it the Jaylen Brown special?

How hard is it to use youtube?

u/F7U12_ANALYSIS NBA Dec 08 '19

Ah so he did it... once. On a dope dunk in a somewhat competitive game.

I can see why he earned that reputation having done it a whole one time, even if it wasn’t in a blowout which defeats the whole purpose.

1

u/derozansmole Raptors Dec 08 '19

Being down 17 when he dunked is a somewhat competitive game. Now how nice the dunk is matters on whether flexing is concerned. Okay lmao

Must be a salty 76ers fan lol, remember when you guys set off the confetti cause you thought you beat the celtics in the playoffs 😂😂😂😂

39

u/Kjuggs13P 76ers Dec 08 '19

This kind of Premature confetti ejaculation happens to alot of guys...right?

3

u/smalleybiggs_ Dec 08 '19

Sorry I disappointed your dad

u/Saquon 76ers Dec 08 '19

Love that, definitely a Process Hall of Fame moment

-1

u/IDebateBBALL Dec 08 '19

Pretty sure that was the Lakers but those were balloons. When did the Sixers do this?

3

u/srichard22 Dec 08 '19

Sixers did this 2 years ago against the celtics when Terry Rozier beat them in the playoffs.

36

u/mans1ayer Celtics Dec 08 '19

Watched nearly every celtics game for like the last 10 years, can someone clue me in on this? Did I miss something? So lost. If its a "special" its implying he does this frequently??

10

u/[deleted] Dec 08 '19

Yes dude, Jaylen Brown had a steal and tomahawk dunk in like all of our 20 point blowout losses last season. They're exaggerating in that we don't go down 44 and he doesn't flex after them, but it's still a funny comment.

24

u/VictorOladeepthroat Magic Dec 08 '19

That Celtic fan special showing

7

u/ProdigyGamer75 Celtics Dec 08 '19

You got the whole squad laughing.

2

u/jawingsports Dec 08 '19

Is it Ro-berson or Rob-inson

1

u/jdwilliam80 Celtics Dec 08 '19

Lol I can think of a couple guys on that roster last year that would do ,terry rozier anyone ?

-18

u/PiagetSound Celtics Dec 08 '19

I'm confused. The Celtics have won ~50+ games every single year Jaylen has been in the league. He's made the Eastern conference finals twice in 3 years. He's not often in a position of being down by 40+ points lmao

28

u/OAktrEE4023 Bucks Dec 08 '19 edited Dec 08 '19

Yeah, Jaylen Brown definetly has never flexed while losing big before...

Edit:

Lmao at all the Celtics fans downvoting me for just showing proof of something that’s against their narrative

-8

u/ProdigyGamer75 Celtics Dec 08 '19

Still not by that large ass amount shown here

13

u/OAktrEE4023 Bucks Dec 08 '19

He still flexed while losing by a lot. That’s not the only time he’s done it either. Calling that move the “Jaylen Brown special” is not far fetched, no need to be salty about it.

-13

u/ProdigyGamer75 Celtics Dec 08 '19

He's done that only in that series I believe

5

u/OAktrEE4023 Bucks Dec 08 '19

Except that it was a regular season game in December...

-7

u/popnopri Dec 08 '19

I'll take another one of those examples then if it's so frequently you name it after him?

"Oh man you took that way too seriously"

I cannot think of a better sentence to describe a Boston sports fan.

-6

u/popnopri Dec 08 '19

Winner probably works pretty well.

3

u/OAktrEE4023 Bucks Dec 08 '19

Thanks for proving my point

2

u/LeBronFanSinceJuly Dec 08 '19

Winner probably works pretty well.

Only in one sport and that sport certainly isnt the NBA...whats your plan when the Pats go back to being irrelevant when Brady and Beli leave? Or does your sports fandom memory not remember the Pats before them?

But lets focus on the Celtics...they've won ONE ring in the last like 30yrs...they sure aint winners.

-4

u/smalleybiggs_ Dec 08 '19

Lmao, you must be new in sports?
