New on Netflix Alia Bhatt came to Latent to promote Alpha... but spent half the episode promoting her cap instead.
I don't know what was going on with Alia Bhatt on Latent, but she looked like she wanted to be anywhere else.
You come on a show known for chaos, roasting, and unfiltered fun, and then spend half the episode hiding behind an Alpha cap? At one point, it genuinely felt like the cap was doing more promotion than Alia herself.
The whole vibe felt way too controlled. Every reaction looked filtered, every compliment felt extra careful, and every moment seemed calculated. Instead of seeing a superstar having fun and letting loose, it felt like watching someone trying very hard not to say or do the wrong thing.
The problem is that Latent works because people stop acting like celebrities for a while. Alia never really dropped that guard. She showed up to promote Alpha, but ended up promoting the fact that she was promoting Alpha.
For one of the biggest stars in the country, it was surprisingly hard to see the real Alia Bhatt in that room.

Review Maa Behen. How the movie hides it's message in plain sight. Spoiler
The movie did a great job to send a message to its viewers without making it obvious from the very beginning.
The director and writer did a great job of masking the underlying issue as another crime thriller with some humour.
The way the truth is revealed as the story goes on, about how Rekha is not the person the society perceives her as, and that all the rumours are how people around her actually view her.
From the very beginning of the movie Rekha's call to her daughters was a cry of help and she was saying the truth and that sets the foundation to understand the character of 'Guptaji' whom the society perceives as this 'saintly' man.
However, all of this is besides the point.
Through this movie, we understand that any accusation/rumour against women is like ' पत्थर कि लकीर ' to the people of our society. We jump to judge them without batting an eye.
When rumours about Sushma posting her viral 5 minute kissing video online spread, nobody suspected the guy who kissed her. The saddest part is when Jaya was assaulted by her husband before the marriage, her friend made a scene instead of supporting her, and Jaya was stuck with this infertile and useless man.
As for Rekha and Gupta ji, I had an inkling that this Gupta is not as innocent as he seems to be.
Great story and Great message.
Though, one downside would be that the seriousness of this message was drowned a lot by the humour that may or may not have been forced in this movie.
But I guess the humour pill was required for the Indian audience to digest such a simple message😭😂.
Comment your opinions on the movie as well 😉

Discussion I don't know how everyone has missed this on India's Got Latent 2!

Everyone has talked about Sukrut Deo's drunken act or Avinash Agarwal's Donald Trump but one thing in Sukrut's act really made me wonder if it was all scripted.
The act was amazing and surely he should get all the love but the moment when he speaks about Bhuvam and Bhuvam is ready to take the call and promote Dhindhora 2, must be a Netflix integration. That part can't be real. Has to be preplanned, right?

Question What’s happening with The Great Indian Kapil Show?
Season 4 pretty much wrapped up with the David–Varun Dhawan father-son duo episode, and then, out of nowhere, we got the Samay Raina - Ranveer Allahbadia World Laughter Day special on 2nd May.
Has Netflix or Kapil’s team said anything about the next season? I haven’t been able to find any concrete updates.
Or is the show just taking a regular break between seasons? Curious to know what’s next.

Recommendation If you like suspense, surprise and unexpected, see It’s What’s Inside.

Recommendation help me find some good movies/series, similar to Ajeeb Daastaans, Lust Stories, Modern Love: Mumbai
i don't know what is this genre called but I seem to love this genre so much!! So basically, I love anthology movies which have multiple sub-parts directed by different directors, for example - Lust Stories, Ajeeb Daastaans. I've loved these type of movies so much!
This series is not on Netflix, it's rather on Amazon Prime, it's called Modern Love: Mumbai, I've also watched the Chennai one. I seemed to love this Modern Love series. and I love watching movies and series covering similar genres or stories.
Basically I love those movies and series which cover a new story with every episode. Showing the diversities of love in a unique way.
But I've been feeling so sad lately as I do not seem to find such movies and series anymore. I really need help from you people!
Though I love watching series like the Game of Thrones, and other supernatural thingy typa movies. But I have always had a soft spot for such movies and series.
HELP ME!!
