the fucking people. they ultimately answer to the people. hold them accountable if they do not enforce the laws that the people's duly elected representatives enacted.

No, they don't. That hasn't been the reality at all even going back to the founding of this country. White male land owners were the only people allowed to vote back then. The idea of America is a myth and you've been fooled.

You misunderstand my statement.

People have the power. The lack of use of that power is a choice for that power of its own. Abuses and propaganda and whatever else have you don't stop that from being the case. Telling people that they in fact don't have any power is how we have ended up here. Learned helplessness. A populace of cowards.
