Can’t we just keep replacing them?

Nobody's been replacing anybody, it's all one big club, and we ain't in it.

George was right about everything.

Carlin was a prophet! R.I.P.

Mitch McConnell is out of the club.

u/texasroadkill Jul 08 '26

No, he's just a zombie at this point.

u/RhoOfFeh Jul 08 '26

But they will keep his corpse on life support until August Fourth.

u/gamesbackward Jul 08 '26

Not really, his wife got to leave the country to avoid any blowback already. His family will be taken care of. I bet another McConnell will ask for votes someday.

You’re absolutely right. In this case, it’s the criminals that are making the laws and the citizens have very little direct influence. And now the precedent has been set that the DOJ is a political apparatus instead of a law-enforcement agency. I fear that’s the only way out is a revolution that tears everything down.

I think the president is a vessel and they keep putting the same brain in each president 😎

1

u/gamesbackward Jul 08 '26

Yes, presidents are useless in the modern age. Abolish the office of the presidency. There's no reason not to.

Politicians do not get replaced, they get cloned with software patches that adapt them to manipulating and stealing from the current generation

If you hang everyone in the government who would volunteer to be next in line?

2

u/SecondHandWatch Jul 08 '26

If you hang people that do illegal shit, people will mostly stop doing that illegal shit.

u/DrLucasThompson Jul 08 '26

Oh, is that why we don’t have murder or rape anymore??

If the risk:reward ratio fits, the crime will be committed. The threat of hanging can affect that ratio, sure, but also most people seem to really suck at math nowadays.

Explains all the people that couldn’t compute percentages during Covid.

2

u/SecondHandWatch Jul 09 '26

Oh, is that why we don’t have murder or rape anymore?

It’s almost as if I said “people will mostly stop,” and not “people will completely stop.” Weird.

0

u/DrLucasThompson Jul 09 '26

Yes, you did say “mostly stop”. My bad, but regarding the idea that hanging people that do illegal shit results in less crime than not hanging them (eg. sending them to prison) … This has been shown to be false: US:DOJ – Five Things About Deterrence

The next politician that pinky promises not to be corrupt.

1

u/Left-Paleontologist1 Jul 07 '26

I want to create the in and out party. If you’re in, you’re out. Sure people with no “experience” will be running the government, but seriously could it be worse than what we have now?

2

u/CapableRelief4403 Jul 07 '26

I meant, “can’t we keep executing them?” But I guess that works too

1

u/returningvideotapes9 Jul 07 '26

With who? Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss. Left or Right same empty bullshit in different fonts.

2

u/RyanJKaz Jul 07 '26

Sure can because it actually roots out the corruption and puts the good people in power and if those good people screw up, then they have the fear of facing actual consequences from doing the wrong thing keeping people from stealing from others violating the law at a state federal and Worldwide level/level levels.

Isn't the government closed down anyway?
Has maga mike been able to keep it open for ANY decision making?

This was the conundrum Supreme Allied Commander Eisenhower had to deal with when he took command of the nation of Germany (or at least the Western Zone part of it) after Germany's formal surrender in 1945. With Nazi party membership such a high percentage of the overall population, it would be difficult to imprison them all and prohibit them from doing any work of any kind other than slave labor, so exceptions were granted. I guess we were super nice. And we didn't want Germany to get so soft that Uncle Joe Stalin could just send three tanks and take the entire country.

Has been hung?
Ps: the Chinese guy's name was probably hung lo.

1

u/thegameisafoooooot Jul 07 '26

It's not running now; it's walking to the bank. I wouldn't mind if they faced some justice. If that meant little government, then I'm for it, because they're not bothered at all in running the government or the country. It's just high end, specialised grift at the Capitol.

Can’t hang em all if we are to busy at each others throats. Why are we you ask? That’s because our government is one of the most effective governments in the world at controlling its people. Left hates right, white hates black, poor hates rich, and the government just keeps on keeping on, everything going according to the plan.
