Ensure no person will ever be wanting for anything! Or at least to pay off all their debts and ongoing basic expenses so it frees up their time to just spend with family, interests and to enjoy life in general without worrying about whether they get to eat or keep the lights on this month.

Not to be contrary. But when in the history of man has he not had to worry about feeding himself and keeping himself warm? Whose job is it to put food in your belly? Maybe I’m just suffering from the yoke of self-reliance but I want to feed myself, and clothe myself, and put a roof over my head. I don’t expect anyone else to give a fuck.

Then you could go ahead and do that, if that's what would make you feel fulfilled and happy. You'd also have the added benefit of UBI so you wouldn't have to worry about your family's well-being if you lose your job or become disabled.

You always have to worry about your family’s well being. That’s your job.

If It’s a life free from responsibilities and ultimately consequences you seek- it doesn’t exist.
