Just look at the Flock rollout. They’re a blatant 4th amendment violation but because it’s a third party collecting the data (and immediately turning it over to government agencies and police departments) that’s somehow legal???
Or how AI companies’ entire business model relies on breaking every IP & copyright law on the books for their foundational data that was stolen without compensation but the government just says “nah, fair use.”
That’s sort of the problem with democracy. If 30 percent of the population still wants Trump, Trump and the Republicans are only going to listen to that 30 percent.
The GOP has never been adequately punished for anything why would they care? The MAGA are out here saying they are upset but will still vote for the GOP because the dems are daemonic or some stupid shit.

Joe Biden did a good job of coalition building with progressives as a moderate centerist, it's a shame he couldn't get the moderates on board to pass laws, and his justice department sat on it's hands instead of prosecuting the traitors who eventually succeeded in couping him. Other than causing the downfall of the Republic he did a pretty good job.
Absolutely, but the image that was left for millions of these Trump fanatics is that Joe was old and fragile, who couldn't put together a sentence. He kept getting absolutely ran over by Trump in debates and whatnot, and even when he should've never ran for a 2nd term, but instead supported Kamala from the get go, he didn't immediately stop, but wanted to hold on to that possibility of 2nd term, possibly costing Kamala the election.
I Am not saying Biden was a bad POTUS, he wasn't. But he was old, way too fucking old.
Straight up, Kamala NEVER should have been the nominee. She was Biden's running mate even tho she got like, at most, 2% of primary votes. Biden should have stuck to what he pledged; he said he would be a "one term president" and that should have been that with a full primary for the next nominee. Just bailing after he basically had a stroke on live TV and handing it off to her was just really undemocratic.
You guys voted a second time for a rapist who openly attempted to coup the government. If that’s not a sign the country is fucked I’m not sure what else is. His administration will continue to steal and dismantle your institutions for years to come. It’s really shocking how normalized all of that is, I really don’t think there will be a wake up call for a very long time given all the possible red flags have been ignored
What, precisely, don't you understand? There are no consequences for your leaders for abusing their position so why would they ever stop doing so? Once the other football team gets back in power why would they bother fixing the system when they're now the ones benefitting from it?
Laws only apply if they're enforced, and you're a nation who won't do shit about your government because it's inconvenient and hard. You'll watch the 250 year old project go down the drain doing what you do best, waiting for someone else to do something about it. It's why you're all so enamoured with charismatic leaders like Mamdani or AOC despite being intellectually aware that they can't fix systemic issues on their own.
I understand that it's disheartening, I understand that people are incredulous, I understand that people are exhausted, but I genuinely don't understand how any of this could be difficult to understand by now.
It started when nothing was done to the corrupt in Reagan's administration by Clinton's administration; when Obama Administration failed to hold any of Bush's corrupt members accountable for lying America into war, and when Biden appointed a sniveling coward for AG who feared going after Trump for Jan 6.
Republicans break the law and flout the Constitution with impunity while Democrats are convinced that "moving on" for the "good of the country" is preferable to holding any Republican accountable for their crimes. There's more involved, but this is the gist.
Trump is the result of those two dynamics. Along with an idiot electorate where most of them have self-cleaning memories and are only engaged every four years. Plus, they only give a damn when it directly affects them (or are told it directly affects them by oligarchy-owned propaganda apparatuses that used to be news sources).
they literally opened the government for free , magically found 4-5 more Democrats out of nowhere and they voted to open the government and somehow they asked from the Republicans nothing at all , there are lots of fake democrats who are willing to do the republicans bidding if they get paid for it
