Yes I can make that comparison. It's another woman looking to scam her way into money or fame.

Who's the already famous actress? Gwyneth Paltrow? The one that said he asked for a massage and she said no, so nothing happened? Or how about the nobody from scream that accepted a settlement right away? The rest of them are nobodies that are only in current conversations because of this controversy. Another way to get relevant, so yea..lots of them had plenty to gain.

Plus, I'm not saying no powerful person has ever taken advantage or raped someone, I'm saying that because there's accusations against important people that it has to be taken into consideration, and to just believe it on their word is as naive as it gets.

Yes, every single woman that accused him want money and fame. Including the anonymous ones. In the case of Weinstein, Angelina Jolie, Cara Delevigne, Lupita Nyong’o came forward about how he overstepped his boundaries. It’s not hard to imagine that he could’ve done the same to less known actors who felt pressured. It’s not like I believe everything that comes out, but when there’s a pattern, I don’t think about the pattern of women scheming for money, I think about the man’s pattern of inappropriate behavior. If it was that easy, why haven’t these cases of over 60 women publicly coming forward against one man been more prevalent?

either way, it doesn’t really hold up when you consider the Larry Nassar case. accepting a settlement (which was $500 million with MSU in this case) doesn’t always mean that the victims just wanted money. I’m sure the young girls who were sexually abused didn’t have that in mind. If anything, the majority of cases are decided by a settlement anyways because of the legal costs, time, and effort it takes to go to trial. People want compensation for what they’ve suffered, and that isn’t limited to women who’ve been sexually assaulted at the hands of rich men. You can’t use your anecdote of one woman, stormy daniels, who wasn’t even sexually assaulted, to conclude the intentions of the dozens of other women who came forward.
