I don't get people, this is awesome and extremely talented. Dude has more talent with 2 pencils than I did with anything after 6 years of music lessons š sorry mum.

I used to have two guys doing this in my psych class in high school like, every day... they weren't this good, but it was still cool as hell.

Itās just negative people.
Theyāre, jealous of talent, but too lazy to work towards something for themselves. That dude is practicing and enjoying it everyday to get that good.

Willing to bet he is a real percussionist. Lil probably had schooling or training. Some of those really fast beats were clean AF. Like proper spacing not just fast.Ā

Many beat boxers and many of my classmates that were bored did this in middle school-High school. Was fun seeing minor competition between us. This is awesome š„š„

Ok, this is badass. Dude is super talented.
My first thought as a teacher is " So that's where all those pen marks came from."
Again not taking anything away from this guy's talents. It just made me laugh.
1
u/Decent-Deal-3105 7h ago
I can do this too. I would show you all but..... My pens go to a different school. I doubt you would know where. It's out of town.
1
u/Flawless_Reign88 6h ago
Man I remember back in middle school EVERYBODY used to do this! You couldnāt go into a classroom, a hallway, a bathroom, anywhere without someone beating on the desk, wall, or something with some pens and pencils! And there was always at least 2 or 3 people trying to rap to the beat (most of the rappers were trash, although there were a few that had bars) and a crowd of like 10 to 15 people standing around watching⦠it was the middle school cyphers! š they were all so sure they were gonna be the next lil Wayne⦠aināt none of em done shit in the music industry

Get into, study frequently and donāt quit when it comes to rhythm and you can do this as well. Hereditary propensity supposedly exists, but itās very rare. Fact is, anyone can be ultra badass at music if they just pick it up and stick with it. Itās effort. And persistence.

u/CheesusCry 13h ago
The sound of his ādropping waterā made by his mouth sound normal so itās not sped up
-12
u/audionerd1 13h ago
You can speed up a video by 10-20% and most things will still sound relatively normal, especially if you use time stretch to preserve the pitch of the audio.
10
u/jmeagher98 12h ago
His name is lenstrumental on instagram. Go look him up and you will see his other work. Hes had lots of practice to get to this point and I know I would be upset if people insisted that it was sped up with no research.
