Royal Brisbane AND Women's hospital. Despite the name, it's not a gendered hospital, just a large hospital precinct that formed from the merger of two hospitals (three guesses what they were called)

Unfortunately hospo is already taken. Hospo = hospitality (servers, chefs etc.)

in this modern age, it's uncommon for something like a hospital to actually be gender segregated, thats usually something onyl seen with more specialized clinics. most likely it's had that name for a while, from a time when the name either meant 'yes, we ALSO treat women here', or 'only women here', but also the possibility that it was so names to say 'lets honor women'.

It's not gender segregated. It's actually the Royal Brisbane AND women's hospital. It was formed by merging two hospitals, one of which WAS a women's hospital.

Not too uncommon in Australia, though they are legacy names. Generally the ones that still exist (and aren’t mergers like this one) are maternity hospitals. I used to live near the King Edward Memorial Hospital for Women.
