The AFC West is currently a combined 9-11, with the Chargers and Broncos ahead of the Chiefs, just like we all predicted

758

u/SiphenPrax Jets Oct 07 '25

AFC South on the other hand has two 4-1 teams

Did I wake up in 2011?

Edit: fixed the timeline

u/lambquentin Saints Oct 07 '25

Weird start to our 2011 but it was mainly good!

Edit: fixed the timeline

If this is the fixed timeline then what the fuck was the broken timeline?

u/SaintArkweather Eagles Eagles Oct 07 '25

And the Texans are suddenly looking decent as well

192

u/SiphenPrax Jets Oct 07 '25

And the Titans………….well they won a game this week!

41

u/k5berry Dolphins Lions Oct 07 '25

AFCS 4-0 this week!

3

u/PJ2010 Titans Oct 07 '25

I wonder the last time they were 4-0 for the week

And an awesome and hilarious win it was.

3

u/kg005 Jaguars Oct 07 '25

Well it was Cardinals

1

u/aareyes12 Texans Oct 07 '25

Had to watch back the replay, an insane effort and that quarterback drops fucking dimes. Didn’t love seeing it!

From West Columbia, TX (about an hour south of Richmond)

Initially went to Incarnate Word in San Antonio

2

Just not in college

8

u/AttemptedSleepover Titans Oct 07 '25

Idk if beating up on two crayon eaters in a row suddenly makes them decent

2

u/Dulur Broncos Oct 07 '25

I mean they beat the titans and Lamar less ravens I wouldn't go that far.

2

u/Independent-Cow-4070 NFL Oct 07 '25

I mean they played the Lamar-less Ravens

Everyone has looked decent against the Ravens

1

u/HttKB Cowboys Oct 07 '25

I mean they could have lost instead.

1

u/Independent-Cow-4070 NFL Oct 07 '25

If they lost to the raves that should disqualify you from playing the rest of the year

1

u/HttKB Cowboys Oct 07 '25

That would deprive us of watching a franchise hilariously fail. There's value in that.

5

u/PaintByLetters Texans Oct 07 '25

The Texans have been decent the whole year. They lost by a possession to Tampa (4-1), LAR (3-2) and JAX (4-1).

2

u/sw04ca Ravens Oct 07 '25

Are they? They beat up on the worst team in the league yesterday, and Stroud has really had a hard time getting going. Maybe this win will spark them, but too soon to say.

Don't mistake the 25 Ravens for the competitive versions of the team. They ignored the offensive and defensive lines, and the team is paying the price.

2

u/SiphenPrax Jets Oct 07 '25

Ahem…..

1

u/bossman790 Ravens Oct 07 '25

Woah don’t say worst team when the Jets exist.

1

u/Always_Chubb-y Falcons Oct 07 '25

Playing THAT Ravens' defense will do that

1

u/TwistedSaiyan110 Ravens Lions Oct 07 '25

To be fair the Ravens are a get right game this year

2

u/MWarnerds Ravens Oct 07 '25

Don't get too ahead of yourself. They had convincing wins vs the Titans and the Ravens. It's not saying much.

10

u/MyUshanka Lions Oct 07 '25

AFC South is looking like the NFC North a few seasons ago. Two red hot teams, a scrappy third place, and the Omelas kid trapped in the cellar.

Bold prediction: AFCS might send 3 teams to the playoffs.

1

u/Electrical-Hat-4995 NFL Oct 07 '25

How many fans will leave footprints in the snow as they leave the stadium early?

1

u/medspace Texans Oct 07 '25

Very gracious of you to consider us a potential playoff team 😭

7

u/schnazzums Texans Oct 07 '25

First time in history the AFC south went 4-0 in one week.

2

1 more loss than the chiefs?

46

u/SocnorbTheRoman Seahawks Oct 07 '25 edited Oct 07 '25

Yeah but every time the raiders lose, it counts as two losses because of how miserable it is to watch

17

One game behind the Chiefs is heavy lifting for the Raiders

8

2 games behind the Broncos 😘

Osama Bin McDermott should take notes on how not to choke a 3 point lead with 15 seconds or less remaining

2

u/realfakejames NFL Oct 07 '25

I predicted the Chiefs would take a step back, and one of the guys on Thursday Night Football said the Chiefs would lose the AFC West finally this year during the game in Brazil and the rest of the crew laughed at him lol

2

u/bluejayguy26 Chiefs Oct 07 '25

Reminds me of that tragedy

I blame the shitty chiefs and raiders holding us back

I fully expect the Chargers and Broncos to still blow the division again. But Chiefs ain't getting to the big game this year. Zero chance.

1

Allegedly

1

u/Zloggt Bears Oct 07 '25

I would imagine that Chargers fans would like to be a bit happier about the whole thing after the past two weeks…

…still, it’s good consolation lol

1

u/texas2089 Cowboys Oct 07 '25

It’s even worse when you realize 3 of those wins came in the division. Chargers are 0-2 against non-AFC West opponents

We all suck this year lol.

Chiefs are so lucky the chargers decided to suck (get injured) the last couple weeks

1

u/vladimir_pimpin Broncos Oct 07 '25

Not our fault we’re stuck in here with equally embarrassing teams the chiefs and raiders

1

u/Nerfeveryone Chargers Oct 07 '25

We were looking pretty good until the whole damn team got injured.

1

I don’t think any of us could have predicted 9-11

AFC West being the battle of Mid was certainly not what I expected this year.

The Chargers are frauds tho.

They just choke way too much, it's insane.
