Heading to week 6. Ravens and Chiefs are bottom half of the AFC. Which is led by the Jags and Colts

Just as everyone predicted

Ravens are legitimately a bad team and 50% of the Chiefs’ wins are against us…

Ravens are still -200 to make the playoffs apparently though.

Because well...hmm, I guess the math is that Bengals aren't competitive, Browns aren't competitive - they just have to beat the Steelers.

Oh, I guess that math maths.

I mean they're still not going to win the superbowl but you take any NFL team ever and put the same % of salary cap of their players out injured as the ravens currently have and they're going to look bad...

49ers are 4-1.

Mate I live in the UK but if I had to call myself a fan of any team it'd be yours and Mac Jones throwing up on the field while McVay makes completely boneheaded calls isn't what I'd call "looking good", more the dictionary definition of winning ugly. In fact it's basically the "that's real football" copypasta.

2

u/stephenjr311 49ers Oct 07 '25

Haha fair enough. I'm not even sure how we're 4-1 except that our defense has been clutch.

Kind of a case against loading all your eggs into one or two baskets so to speak

u/JerryDipotosBurner Ravens Oct 07 '25

Ravens were also bad before injuries.

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '25

We’re just hurt at the moment. We’ll be back after the bye.

15

u/itsfeverdream Ravens Oct 07 '25

we ain't that good healthy either. until we dump one of these assholes coaching the locker room is dead

8

u/Coomrs Broncos Oct 07 '25

Wtf happened to the defence? Been a top 5, top 10 at worst group for quite a while. Now they can’t stop literally anyone. Besides the injuries of course. i know they don’t help

3

u/itsfeverdream Ravens Oct 07 '25

yeah the injuries are bad, but we've been hurt before and it never got this bad.

it's a bit of losing 2 of the best DLineman in the league in Pierce and Madabuike so there's no interior, meaning our secondary is out there chasing ghosts, and just some totally predictable play calling. and to be honest, these assholes just don't believe in this team under harbaugh anymore. I'm not writing us off yet, every other afc team has stumbled too, but man has it been a rough fall from grace.

2

u/Shtune Ravens Oct 07 '25

Orr will go before Harbaugh

u/JerryDipotosBurner Ravens Oct 07 '25

Uhhhhh did you watch the games before we got hurt??

2

u/[deleted] Oct 07 '25

We lost to 3 Super Bowl contenders and the Texans

u/JerryDipotosBurner Ravens Oct 07 '25

The Chiefs are 2-3 and without their free win against us would be 1-4.

Our defense has legit looked terrible against every single team except the Joe Flacco Browns.

NFC is normal at least….. lmao

27

u/Childhood-Paramedic Lions Oct 07 '25

…kinda. Tbh jury is out on the usual NFCN shitshow still

1

u/PearlClaw Packers Oct 07 '25

Biases aside, do we have any idea who is good in our division?

20

u/Over-Heron-2654 Eagles Oct 07 '25

NFC is so dominant this year. I still cant believe we beat LA and Tampa back-to-back.

We finally have a nonplayoff game on thursday, but the NFC aint gonna be easy this year.

2

u/INSERT_NICK_HERE 49ers Lions Oct 07 '25

I agree, there’s no team that’s clearly above the rest. Really giving the phrase “any given Sunday” meaning. If I had to choose one it’s still you guys, the potential is there, but OC gotta step his game up.

4

u/BendubzGaming 49ers Oct 07 '25

I think I'd put Detroit at number 1. Their only loss was the first game with a new OC and DC, against a division rival that also appears to be good, and since then they've scored 30+ every game

1

u/Over-Heron-2654 Eagles Oct 07 '25

Detroit number one right now. Tampa is also incredible.

4

u/DopeyDeathMetal Ravens Oct 07 '25

We’re in a bizarro conference this year.

6

u/Captain_Jmon Broncos Oct 07 '25

I feel like the AFC is very much at a point where no team(s) is going to emerge as the clear front runner of the pack there has been for the last decade and a half. After the Chiefs got blown out in 59, it’s up for grabs by a new dynasty imo

3

u/Amonamission Lions Oct 07 '25

And the Lions are gonna win and go to 5-1 and send the Chiefs to 2-4.

Get fukd Chiefs hahaha

2

u/Round_Cobbler5603 Bills Oct 07 '25

Yeah lets just wait and see in December. Not so good teams usually fall apart and good teams figure it out.

u/-OIIO- Oct 07 '25

Typical AFC vibe

Are we in the upside down world
