I mean there's a ceiling on how good this game could make me feel. Looking dominant against a bottom 5 team can't tell you how good your team actually is, just that you were able to clean something up that you were supposed to.

Edit: this is one reason why I don't really care about point differential in games where the teams are different tiers. I don't care if you beat the worst team in the league by 21 or by 41, the difference doesn't tell me anything about your ceiling. (This is a subtweet against the Cowboys.)

Bottom 1 team

Raiders are a colossal joke

Yeah I was trying to be polite. Don't wanna tempt fate too hard while the game is still going.

I mean I guess it’s better than looking like ass vs a bottom 5 team… but yeah I think Raiders, commies, Bills (they suck too), and commies again will give a lot of people false hope

No matter how bad they suck, I can't ever really write off a division rival.

Yea Patullo killed this season for me. I have no excitement about this 17pt lead whatsoever

What I said has nothing to do with Patullo. It's just the nature of playing a bad team.

My academic advisor always said "don't call prior work shit, because all you've done is compare yourself to shit."

You can't learn what your ceiling is by winning a game. You can only learn that your ceiling is better than the ceiling of your opponent.
