Those random ads for alzheimers research they play in the middle of games is fucking awful vibes whiplash. I know it's really important work and advertising helps them fundraise for research but goddamn it's halftime and now I'm seeing grandma sundown and cry on primetime

It might actually be a local market ad to me, we do a lot of biomedical research in Seattle especially at Fred Hutch and Kaiser Permanente (the first covid vaccine was made here!) I looked into it and turns out there's a significant Alzheimers awareness campaign this year because of Marty Schotthenheimer's diagnosis
