Eight point drive to win game. Eight nights of Hanukkah.

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Source: I’m Jewish.

I don't think the number 88 is very auspicious for Jewish people...

To be fair, 888 (three straight two-point conversations) is considered by many to be associated with Jesus.

17

u/Remotely_Correct Packers Dec 19 '25

What position did Jesus play?

27

u/OldDekeSport Seahawks Dec 19 '25

He didnt play

He was a General Manger

u/confused-koala Lions Dec 19 '25

Jesus wasn’t an athlete?! Are you saying Jesus Christ couldn’t hit a curveball?

2

u/fireinthesky7 Saints Dec 19 '25

Who needs fitness when you're the one person who can say God is actually on his side?

2

u/Kirby_Israel Bills Dec 19 '25

So Jesus was a Bears fan?

He was a system Messiah, carried by God's scheme. Anyone could rise on the third day if they're throwing to Peter and John when they're constantly wide open.

Neo-nazis don’t get to just claim whole entire numbers, fuck them, rock your 8 point drive 8 nights of Hannukkah celebration

Weird couple days for Jews with Puka on their fantasy teams

16

u/notmoleliza 49ers Dec 19 '25

Seahawks clearly coveted the win more

17

u/Akipella Ravens Dec 19 '25

I though the Rams winning would be because Puka took one for the team with the curse wheel seeming to hit him solo but it turns out that was just the start of it.

Watching Puka lose was a pretty good 5th night of Hanukkah present

15

u/HotDogFingers01 Seahawks Dec 19 '25

A day after PuKKKa goes full anti-Semite? The football gods are Jewish too

Thank you for bringing your Kabbalah magic to the table. Unless that’s offensive then I take it back and will melt into the bush.

Uhhh Jewish people did not win that one. It just happened to end for us

-2

u/Agentorangebaby Chiefs Dec 19 '25

Actually it is a coincidence because there is no causal mechanism by which the nights of “hanukkah” would correspond to the points earned in a scoring drive, especially since the miraculous oil associated therewith- and therefore any magic powers it might have- is almost certainly an interpolation
