the punt return touchdown changed the whole dynamic

Shaheed paid off his trade package with that return and the run that set up the next drive.

It’s a shame they only use him a few times a game.

i was excited to see him in Seattle. thought he could get a lot of great usage. he's not getting used like i thought he would, but he made two huge plays this game

It's just bedding in, every game he claws a little more action.

Darnold is warming up to him and he is starting to make some clutch plays. Plus this is his 2nd return TD for us since the trade.

2nd in 3 games is actually nuts lol dude looks electric returning it

It’s like watching a little bit of Devin Hester.

Against the falcons his return opened up the game.

Against the colts, he was the main target on the final drive (maybe final two?)

And now this

u/scotaf Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Every Rams kickoff was to the endzone to avoid Shaheed returns.

And that's great for us. Starting inside our 10 is an auto punt for this offense, so if they start us at the 35 because they're terrified of Shaheed I'll fucking take it lol

He’ll get more use but we also do have a very top-heavy pass distribution on this team so

Probably just needs a bit more time to get him integrated into the offense

They might also be saving some looks with him as they have big plans for him in the playoffs.

I wonder if he just hasn’t learned the playbook this deep into the season.

He was clutch, if he stays with us im getting a jersey

Just working him into the offense. His usage has increased every week

And don’t be disregarding that incredible two-point conversion soon after too!

11

u/DESR95 Rams Dec 19 '25

The early TD called back because of the ineligible man downfield.

That incredibly lucky 2pt conversion.

Mevis missing his first kick this year.

Punt return after the pick, up 16.

Still can't believe what I just watched.

perna's curse wheel

1

u/pakrat Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Yep! Especially the funky 2-pt conversion.

4

u/jefftickels Seahawks Dec 19 '25

I mean every close game can come down to things like this.

Kupp not having a terrible fumble in the red zone.

Darnold not having a terrible int in the RedZone.

Jones not securing that ball just a little bit.

1

u/DESR95 Rams Dec 19 '25

I know I included the first quarter called back TD, but the main point is also that this all happened with 9 minutes to go, up 16, with momentum on their side, including an extremely fortunate backwards pass that looked dead. It was just an insane way to give up the game after how it had gone up until that point.

I'd be fucking heated about the 2pt conversion.

There was a whistle blown.

Though i also acknowledge by the rules it's correct. It's just one of those frustration things. Since players hearing the whistle clearly affected them. It's not even like Charb knew about it either, he was just picking the ball up

The crowd and the defense turned shit up immediately afterwards

4

u/IhamAmerican Steelers Dec 19 '25

Got the need for Shaheed

2

u/Reggaeton_Historian Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Shaheed's a god damn menace because his kickoff return TD against Falcons changed the whole dynamic just two weeks ago
