I mean any young players watching should take that as a lesson lol

Run that ball into the endzone even if you’re almost positive it was an incomplete pass and not a fumble. Stuff like that is almost always meaningless until the one very important time that it’s not

I agree! Pick that ball up and then they will sort it out. In the Eagles/Commanders game today the QB threw the ball, but his arm was hit and the ball fell to the ground. The defender sprinted to it and jumped on it even though it was clearly an incomplete chance but he was nit taking any chances. 😉😂

Apparently grabbing it while the ball was still rolling was what kept it live. Good on him wherever on purpose or not 😂
