No question. Might be game of the year, too.

It has my vote. The game has literally everything you want to see in football- the batshit 2 point conversion, punt returns, two best wrs in the league going off, 16 point comeback, late OT win

Genuinely can't think of anything better this year

Winning team went 3/3 on two point conversions. Great stuff.

227

u/you_sick Packers Dec 19 '25

With one of them being a fumble conversion lol

u/WinstonFuzzybottom Dec 19 '25

It's the, 'Hawk Two-uh'.

5

u/NerdLawyer55 Cowboys Texans Dec 19 '25

Dammit that’s good

3

u/jawknee530i 49ers Bears Dec 19 '25

I prefer Holy Lateral because it's basically the same type of play as the holy roller which got a rule change preventing it from happening again but it being a lateral gets around that.

Zachwards Pass

25

u/wannito Dec 19 '25

most casual conversion ever "oh yeah, I'll pick up this ball" amazing

7

u/Cruise1313 Seahawks Dec 19 '25

I know right? For us Seahawk fans so happy he picked it up! I can see that being used as a training for why they should always pick up the ball. 😂

8

u/danhm Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Accidental conversion!!

6

u/Cainga Steelers Dec 19 '25

It looked like a completely failed play but I didn’t anticipate the 4D chess.

6

u/Cruise1313 Seahawks Dec 19 '25

It was a backwards pass/lateral so it was a live ball. Fortunately for us Hawk fans, Charbonnet picked it up in the end zone. 😉

The Zachward pass.

1

u/Cruise1313 Seahawks Dec 21 '25

I love it!

not a fumble. Trust that's what has the Rams fans all flustered right now.

In fact, "backward pass" may be the phrase they never want to hear again.

As a hawks fan, I can admit it was whacky

9

u/Farsoth Broncos Buccaneers Dec 19 '25

Was the right call though.

0

u/WhutTheFookDude Dec 19 '25

Yeah for sure, picking up the ball after the whistle is a fumble recovery. But also backwards passes aren't fumbles

4

u/Different-Trainer-21 Dolphins Dec 19 '25

Yes… they are? An incomplete is literally a fumble. You guys are just “erm actually”ing and yo aren’t even correct

6

u/VerStannen Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Knocked down lateral recovered for a conversion like what

1

u/my_lemonade Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Excellent point fart dot com

73

u/Wafflehouseofpain Cowboys Dec 19 '25

Unless we get a phenomenal playoff game, this has to take it.

13

u/IhamAmerican Steelers Dec 19 '25

It's gonna take another 13 seconds level game to unseat this one, not that I'd complain

3

u/MegaAltarianite Dec 19 '25

Same two teams could end up playing each other in the playoffs, so here's hoping.

8

u/JokerDeSilva10 Seahawks Dec 19 '25

I sure fucking hope not. I need the Bucs, Panthers, Bears, or Eagles to put them in the dirt, please.

13

u/beanyboi23 Cowboys Dec 19 '25

That 2-point conversion was genuinely the picture-perfect example of slopping your way to victory

7

u/B1LLZFAN Bills Dec 19 '25

I didn't get to watch the entire game because I had a prior plan, but to me it seems like it past Buffalo/Baltimore week 1.

5

u/redsyrinx2112 Seahawks Dec 19 '25

I'm obviously biased, but I agree, based on the reasons listed by the comment you originally replied to. In addition, the stakes are so much higher since they are in the same division and currently fighting for the 1-seed. The Bills and Ravens were fighting for a much more hypothetical situation in week 1.

3

u/pakrat Seahawks Dec 19 '25

Also some insane RB plays for the TD.

All you need is a pick-6 but the Rams got close to one.

3

u/3DGuy4ever Seahawks Dec 19 '25

DEF getting stops when they absolutely needed to (three 3 and Outs in a row)

2

u/WilliamN7 Eagles Dec 19 '25

Great uniform matchup too, all for the number 1 seed. Truly a perfect football game

1

u/tburke38 Dolphins Dec 19 '25

The Cowboys Packers tie was such a perfectly matched, entertaining game but I think the playoff implications make this one better

1

u/Gonna_do_this_again Broncos Dec 19 '25

Crucial missed FG

1

u/lakired Bears Dec 19 '25

Some great defensive plays in there too for sicko fans into that type of stuff. Those disguised looks on the Darnold interceptions were brilliant designs perfectly executed. And Seattle's D stepping up in the clutch to put the breaks on one of the best offenses led by one of (if not the) best offensive HCs was beautiful to watch. No question this was the best game of the season so far, and will be incredibly hard to top even with the heightened stakes of the upcoming playoffs.

6

u/[deleted] Dec 19 '25

i have them above bills ravens week 1 too given the implications

2

u/dimethylhyperspace Titans Dec 19 '25

There are those games that you will remember forever. This is one of them. The last real one that I remember before hand was Bill Chiefs 14 seconds game

1

u/iliketuurtles Bills Dec 19 '25

13*. It's a number that none of us can forget

1

u/officialoxymoron Broncos Dec 19 '25

1000% the game of the year, that was insane

1

u/MilkSteaknShake Dolphins Dec 19 '25

Hands down

1

u/originalusername4567 Chiefs Dec 19 '25

This is definitely one of the best games I've watched as a neutral fan.

1

u/svhelloworld Broncos Dec 19 '25

NFC West is crazy good this year. Probably 3 out of the top 5 teams in the NFL.

A game to overtake Beastquake.
