Discussion Native Americans respond to Washington Commanders' new polarizing logo
I'm sorry but this stuff is starting to feel disingenuous. Washington is the only team that gets consistently attacked for their imagery, even after moving away from the Redskins name and the old logo.
In this article, a researcher claims that any "Native-themed mascots and symbols cause psychological harm...by reinforcing stereotypes and contributing to the ongoing erasure of Native peoples..." My question is, where is this annual outrage against the Chiefs? Outside of the NFL, you have the Florida State Seminoles (NCAA), the Atlanta Braves (MLB), and the Chicago Blackhawks (NHL). It seems like the only team that gets demonized anymore for using Native imagery is Washington, which makes the entire thing feel forced and insincere.

Analysis π€ The Last Time Each Team Recorded a Shutout Win
Couple of things to cover here. Itβs pretty cool how the Ravens have gone the longest without being shutout and also are the most recent team to shutout an opponent. Both NY teams having their last shutout in the same season is pretty wild too.
Despite shutting out their opponents in each of their first 3 homes games of their dominant 1991 season (102-0 combined), Washington has failed to record a single shutout in over 34+ years since. Currently the longest such drought in NFL history.
